Christening Party Supplies
I feel invisble and unimportant…?
First off,im a Leo.Nothing brings us more down than being ignored.My sons Christening is next month and we are planning it with my in laws and my parents.I wanted them to be involved.Plus,it’ll be held at my inlaws house.I feel like I dont have a say.I bought a few supplies and my mother in law commented that she saw other supplies that she wanted to get but since I already got the ones that I have,we’ll keep them.What ?? I think she should have kept that comment to herself.Plus,she wants to arrange things her way,etc.I feel so powerless b/c I dont have my own backyard and the party wont be held at my own house.I dont know what to do.I dont want to talk to her about it b/c we dont have that kind of relationship.Im sick and tired of this.I feel like a kid ! Advice is needed.
I usually don’t subscribe to astrological theories, but I guess I can’t prove them wrong. Not to mention the fact that it’s uncanny how often an astrological personality chart will be correct.
I am a Leo as well, and I hate being ignored. My advice is to make it clear to your mother in law that he’s your son- not hers. You, as well as your wife, have to have the final say when it comes to things such as the location and supplies to be used. She will be possessive of your son and feel that she knows better because she has parenting experience- that’s the way mothers are. But you have to make it clear to her that while her input will be considered, what you and your wife say goes in all matters regarding the baby.
